1: fresh spinach 3 cups (heaped)
2: gram flour 2 & 1/2 cups (heaped)
3: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
4: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
5: ginger & garlic paste 2 tsp
6: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted and crushed)
7: rice flour 1/2 cup
8: bullet green chilli 3 (finely chopped)
9: fresh mint leaves 20
10: oil warm 4 tbsp
11: fresh coriander 1/2 cup
12: oil for frying
1: in a bowl add the gram flour sieved, rice flour, salt, red chilli, cumin, green chilli, mint, coriander, ginger & garlic paste, oil, spinach and mix well.
2: now add water slowly and mix well, the batter needs to be medium not watery.
3: heat oil add the mixture, bit size.
4: fry till golden on medium flame.
5: serve hot with mint chutney, sweet imli chutney or ketchup.
