1: pizza dough (check the link on the video or click HERE ) OR use ready made crust
2: pizza sauce (check the link on the video or click HERE ) OR use ready made sauce 1&1/2 cup
3: mozzarella cheese 3 cups
4: black olives 10 (sliced)
5: bell-pepper 1 small (finely sliced)
6: salami 25 slices
7: 8 inch loose bottom cake tin
8: baking paper 1
9: baking tray 1
Preheat Oven 200c, 400f, Gas Mark 6.
1: dust the working surface and knead the dough for 1 minute.
2: roll the dough 1/4 inch and use the bottom of the cake tin and cut the dough, you will need 5 round pieces.
3: place the round dough on the baking tray and bake for 8 minutes each of the round dough pieces.
4: once baked keep on the cooling rack.
5: now dust surface and roll the remaining dough and cut the size of the side of the cake tin leaving 1 inch on the top.
6: place the baking paper in the cake tin and Carefully drape long strip of dough around inside edge of pan to line, leaving 1 inch hanging over outside edge of pan and bottom of pan open. Pinch seam to seal.
7: Carefully place 1 partially baked crust round in bottom of pan. Spread pizza sauce over crust sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, bell-pepper, olives and then salami (when cheese melts, crust above will stick to it). Repeat to make 4 more layers.
8: Fold overhanging dough over top layer of pizza cake to make a raised crust edge.
9: bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
10: Once completely baked, cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove pizza cake from pan. Use sharp knife to cut slices like you would a cake.
11: serve and enjoy.
