1: chicken 1kg (cut in 12 pieces)
2: lemon juice 1/4 cup
3: vinegar 1/4 cup
4: whole red chilli 6
5: vinegar 3 tbs
6: salt 1 ts
7: crushed black pepper 1 ts
8: cumin seeds 1/2 tbs (dry roasted and crushed)
9: cinnamon stick 1
10:garam masala powder 1/2 ts
11:ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs
12:ghee 1 cup
1: in a pot add chicken, ginger & garlic paste, salt mix and cook on medium flame till the water from the chicken dries and chicken is cooked.
2: in a separate pan add dry red chilli, cinnamon stick, vinegar, water 1/2 cup and cook for a few minutes, then let it cool and grind it to a paste.
3: once the chicken is done, keep aside.
4: melt ghee add crushed black pepper, crushed cumin, grinned paste, mix and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
5: then add the chicken, mix add lemon juice, garam masala mix and cook on medium flame till the ghee comes on the surface.
6: serve hot with roti or naan.
