1: potatoes 6 large (peeled & sliced)
2: sugar 1 tbsp
3: corn syrup 1 tbsp
4: cold water
5: hot water
6: oil for frying
1: salt 1 tsp
2: red chilli powder 1 tsp
3: salt 1 tsp
4: garlic powder 1 tsp
5: oregano 1 & 1/2 tsp
1: peel and cut the potatoes, place them in cold water for 5 minutes, then drain the water.
2: now boil water add sugar, corn syrup, potatoes and boil for 5 minutes on high flame, drain the water.
3: now divide the potatoes and season them, one with salt and red chilli, second with salt, garlic powder & oregano, toss well.
4: take a baking tray, place baking paper on it and spread the fries in a separate row, keep in the freezer for 1 hour, remove and keep in zip lock bags and freeze them for 2 months.
5: when ready to use: heat oil to medium heat and fry the frozen fries for two minutes, take it out of the oil and leave to cool completely, then heat oil well and this time fry till gets nice golden colour.
6: serve hot with ketchup, mayo.
