1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 12 pieces)
2: salt 1 tsp
3: cumin seeds 1 tbsp
4: turmeric 1/2 tsp
5: garam masala powder 1 tsp
6: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
7: red chilli powder 1 tsp
8: onions 2 medium (finely sliced)
9: tomatoes 5 medium (boiled, skin of and grinned to a paste)
10: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
11: double cream 1 cup
12: thick greek yogurt 1 cup
13: bullet green chilli 2 (sliced)
14: fresh ginger 1 inch piece (Julian)
15: fresh coriander 3 tbsp
16: oil 1/2 cup
1: heat oil and fry the chicken till changes colour, on high flame, then take out and keep aside.
2: now in the same oil add onions and fry till golden.
3: add cumin seeds, ginger & garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes, on high flame.
4: then add the fried chicken, fenugreek leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, salt, grinned tomato paste, cream, yogurt, water 1/2 cup mix well, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil comes on surface.
5: now add fresh coriander, green chilli, ginger mix well.
6: serve hot with roti or naan.
